On 18 March, 2022, our CEO, Masaaki Takano, was a guest lecturer at the Banshin Management School’s exclusive Business Successor Conference, organised by Japan’s Banshu Shinkin Bank. The event featured many strategies and ideas for taking over or passing the leadership of an established business, as well as for taking a business in a new direction.

Mr. Takano spoke about his experience in growing DG TAKANO from a local business, purely based around manufacturing, into an international company with diverse areas of expertise. He talked about using design thinking and the role of change management. He also described in detail the various hardships he faced and how he overcame them.

Mr. Takano aimed to present attending managers with practical strategies with which they could take their businesses to the next level.
