Soichi brings a wealth of business development experience and an energetic, can-do attitude, essential for DG TAKANO’s growth and global expansion. He joins DG TAKANO after a successful career at the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper, Kindai University and Deloitte Tohmatsu LLC in order to work towards building a clean, sustainable society.

As the Chief Operations Officer of DG TAKANO, Soichi heads his own projects and works to better our organisational efficiency and optimise project flow by helping members identify their bottlenecks.

A subscriber to the philosophy of People, Profit, Planet, Soichi believes that labour-saving technologies are the first step towards building a sustainable society with next to zero non-recyclable waste.
“Japanese society is highly cooperative”, he explains, “so I believe large-scale change is very much possible. If we manage to do that, then Japan can be a good example for the rest of the world.”

When not at work or running to a meeting, Soichi is an avid reader who spends more than 10,000 yen, or about 90 dollars, on new paperbacks every month. Fitting reading time in his busy schedule, however, is no easy task, so he’s found a creative solution—reading in the bathtub. How many of his books are soaked, you ask? Soichi claims none. COO

創一は、People、Profit、Planetの哲学に賛同し、省力化技術がリサイクル不可能な廃棄物を最小限に抑えた、環境に優しい社会を構築するための第一歩であると考えています。
 「日本社会は高い協調性を有しているため、簡単に大規模な改革を起こせる」
と彼は説明します。
彼は、日本が環境と調和するクリーンな社会の実現で世界の手本に成ることに希望と情熱を持って取り組んでいます。

仕事をしていないときや会議に出席していないとき、創一は熱心な読者であり、毎月1万円（約90ドル）を新しい書籍に費やしています。
創一は通勤中の読書に加えて、バスタブで読書するという創造的な健康法を見つけました。
本が水に濡れてしまいませんか？という私の問いに対し、彼の答えは「無し」です。
彼はとても用心深い男でもあります。
