DG TAKANO Collaborates with Kansai Uni Highschool to Foster Sustainability Education 関西大学北陽中学校の生徒の皆さんと、SDGsについて考えました

This February, DG TAKANO members joined up with students from Kansai University Hokuyo Junior High School to talk about Sustainability Development Goals and, in particular, about water conservation.

How does DG TAKANO help save water in Japan and abroad, what can individuals and governments do to reduce water waste, how does virtual water impact countries around the world—these were among the incredibly insightful questions we received during the event.

Education about sustainability is a big part of Japan's integrated learning curriculum, which introduces students to real-world sustainability-focused businesses and NGOs. Students get to talk with and ask questions about their chosen topic, which in this case, was saving water.

It's both exciting to see young people broach the topic of sustainability with passion and curiosity; an experience that further inspires us to work to combat water scarcity at home and abroad. 2月3日に、DGが関西大学北陽中学校の生徒さんから、SDGsや節水についてオンラインでインタビューを受けました。

総合学習の中で、SDGsをテーマにグループに分かれて取り組まれているそうです。
今回は「節水」に関心を持ったグループから、弊社に企業インタビューのオファーをいただき、喜んでご協力させていただきました。

中学3年生からの質問に感心しつつ、日本や世界の水資源について、節水について、弊社がしているSDGsへの取り組みについてお答えしました。

環境問題に対する熱心な姿勢に、学校教育の中でSDGsについて考える時間をもつことの大切さを感じました。DG TAKANOはこれからもこのような機会を大切に、様々な角度からSave Water、SDGsに貢献したいと思っています。
